Black Friday Shopping Deals – Cozy Outfit Ideas for Thanksgiving

Cozy Outfit Ideas for Thanksgiving

I was suprised to see that the Black Friday shopping deals have already started! The Black Friday shopping deals seem to be offered earlier and earlier each year. Of course, there will be plenty of new deals popping up next week, but let’s get a jump start on our holiday shopping before Black Friday, shall we? I’m rounding up my favorite cozy outfit ideas for Thanksgiving.

Simple works best.

To be honest, we keep Thanksgiving very simple around my house. I’ll be wearing the softest sweater that ever existed and my new high waisted black denim jeans. If you prefer to wear a casual outfit for Thanksgiving, too, then I’ve rounded up my favorite cozy outfit ideas for Thanksgiving for you. All of my Thanksgiving outfits are under $100 because I know we are all trying to save this holiday season.

My favorite part about Thanksgiving is being around family, cozying up on the couch with pumpkin pie and a warm cider drink and watching Football. Now that I’m older, the holidays are about comfort.

Who remembers being forced to wear white tights and uncomfortable dresses when you were a toddler? I couldn’t wait to tear those tights off my legs once I got home. When it’s a lazy, relaxing holiday like Thanksgiving, I’m looking to wear only the most comfortable clothes in my closet. Preferably, an oversized sweater to hide all of the turkey I just ate.

I love the idea of wearing striped sweaters for the holidays. You can mix a striped sweater with a plaid scarf and you’ll be good to go. Throw in a pop of red and then get ready for the compliments.

I prefer my “red” to be a bright red handbag for this look but no need to go out and purchase one. You can opt for red flats, red lipstick, red earrings or a red belt.

I love wearing black. I will wear black every day of the week but once I throw in my pop of red suddenly I’m festive and “in season.” Just a simple trick if you’re having a hard time finding a red sweater that you love this holiday season.

Daytime appropriate dresses on sale.

We would all love to be super fancy and wear a lace dress for the holidays, wouldn’t we? Oh,you wouldn’t? I’m SO glad I’m not the only one. When it comes to the holidays, I’m either in an oversized sweater or a jumpsuit (if I feel like getting a little more fancy). I will never wear a cocktail dress to my parents or out to Thanksgiving dinner. So, in my attempt to keep this blog as close to my real life as possible, I’m only sharing the daytime holiday dresses on sale that I would wear for the holiday season.

Would love to hear your thoughts!
